The team at Dr. Martens partnered with us to help them to design and launch a microsite that would bring to life the grit, creativity, and passion of different artists across the world — people who revel in their individuality, and who are connected through their love for an iconic brand. This is Worn Different.

We are the artists, the musicians, the DJs, and the fashion designers. We are the people with desk jobs, night jobs, and in-between jobs. We are the ones who dare to show our style differently.

Breaking boundaries.

We knew that we had to design an experience that could move, that had life, that had momentum. And we only had a few short weeks before the campaign would go live. We started with quick prototyping and created a proof of concept to get quick buy-in and approval from the Dr. Martens marketing team. Once we had the go-ahead, we spun up development to start laying the multi-site foundation while design and copy kept moving in a parallel track.

IT TAKES A VILLAGE

To make it all happen, Dr. Martens tapped ODD London to work with 29 artists to shoot amazing videos and beautiful photography that would fuel the first part of the campaign. In turn, we paired with ErgonTech to add motion, micro-animation and build a fully-editable platform for the internal team to easily update.
